Joey Guidone illustrates for the Baccanale Food Festival

Joey Guidone, alumnus IED Torino, is the author of the symbolic illustration of the Imola autumn festival, which this year is dedicated to “Ripieni” (fillings and stuffings). From 22 October to 13 November, dozens of restaurants and bars offer themed menus. “I wanted to create the playful image of a surreal journey to discover taste” the artist explains. “Since the theme is fillings, I was inspired by Verne's famous story 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth’. Central and iconic, the illustration attracts the curiosity of even the most distracted eye”.
