We already know the three finalists for the 12th edition of the Vogue Fashion Fund, an award annually presented by Vogue magazine in collaboration with Inditex. Previously known as Who's On Next, this award aims to recognize and celebrate emerging talents in Spanish fashion, offering a cash prize of 100,000 euros and increasing the chances of showcasing their collections on a more international stage. Two of the finalists for this year's most outstanding breakthrough designer award are Pepa Salazar and Sonia Carrasco, both alumnae of IED Madrid's Fashion Design program.

Pepa Salazar's Journey
After completing her Fashion Design studies at IED Madrid, Valencia-born designer Pepa Salazar began her career in the creative team of Loewe. In 2013, she launched her eponymous brand, winning the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award in 2014. She has also been a finalist for the Who's On Next award in 2017. Pepa Salazar's designs have caught the attention of celebrities like Madonna, Kim Kardashian, and Rosalía, among others. She has been honored with awards such as the Nou Moda Fad and the IED Design Awards for Best Creative Direction.

Sonia Carrasco's Vision
Sonia Carrasco, also a Valencia native and an IED Madrid alumna, is a repeat finalist for this award, having also been a finalist in 2021. At just 17, she participated in the organization of the now-defunct Valencia Fashion Week. Later, she would join the teams of Alexander McQueen and French house Celine. In 2019, she launched her own namesake brand, advocating for timeless and artisanal approaches to fashion design. Her disruptive vision aims to establish a dialogue between seduction and craftsmanship, creating pieces where the past and future walk hand in hand.
