IED Bilbao Students Alvaro Quecedo and Sara Fernández Awarded BIME Campus Scholarships

Alvaro Quecedo and Sara Fernández, IED alumni specializing in Graphic Design, were awarded the prestigious Bime Campus scholarships. The scholarships were part of the BIME Live & Pro festival, an international gathering for the music industry held in Bilbao last October. Both Quecedo and Fernández experienced an immersive week centered around the creative and cultural industries. This opportunity provided them with valuable insights into the music sector. It expanded their future business opportunities and employment relationships through connections with companies associated with the music industry. The BIME Live & Pro festival, organized by Last Tour, the most important promoter in the Basque Country, has been a platform since 2013 for discussing the challenges driving the future of the music sector and enjoying live music. Starting in 2022, the festival also expanded to Bogotá. In addition to this new collaboration with BIME Campus, all students from IED Bilbao received a 50% discount on the entrance fee for BIME PRO.
