"Designing the future: Laura Biagiotti and Giacomo Balla". Two thesis projects inspired by the Futuristic Movement

"New Universe" and "15-4020" are the two projects born from the inspiration of Paola Fusco and Floriana Carannante, alumnae of the Fashion Design course at IED Roma, in partnership with Biagiotti Group. The iconic colours of the Futurist master and the movement generated by his artistic lines are the basis of two eclectic and creative collections that also pay homage to Laura Biagiotti's passion for Futurism. "Futurist impulses suggest looking ahead, an attitude more necessary than ever in a global pandemic scenario. Fashion must also cultivate youth, imagining that the relationship between generations can be one of generous osmosis" said Lavinia Biagiotti Cigna. The projects were a part of "Insubordinate", the IED graduates' fashion show at Altaroma.
