IED Alumni at Eurovision 2022. When talent dresses talent
Nick Cerioni (here his exclusive video interview), alumnus with a Fashion Marketing and Communication degree at IED Milano, confirmed his fashion rockstar status at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 as stylist of the host Laura Pausini and singer Achille Lauro, who sang Stripper. For Cerioni, who recently launched his label "The Nick", this event was a happy return as he had styled last year’s winners Måneskin. He involved two other IED alumni: Alessandro Vigilante (here the news on his debut), graduate in Fashion Design at IED Milan, who designed a long dress for Pausini with a hand-embroidered pattern in shades of orange and a lime-coloured vegan rubber trench coat, and Walter Chiapponi, also a IED Milano alumnus, who designed a blue cape with collar and all-over appliqués, signed Tod's. Among the looks sported by Laura Pausini there were also three Valentino dresses from the PP Pink collection, a fashionable shade introduced by Pierpaolo Piccioli, IED Roma alumnus and creative director of the maison. Mika was also dressed in Valentino, while Alessandro Cattelan, styled by IED Milano alumna Rebecca Baglini, opted for Giorgio Armani’s rich style. Eurovision 2022 was therefore a showcase of talents not only at a musical level, but also from a design point of view, and we are happy to see, once more, the excellence of the work by talent Made in IED.
