Talented, enterprising and very young! The IED Alumni who work for Will Media, We Are Social and won the ADCI Award.
BIANCA DEL BALZO
She walked on the stage for her first time just a few days ago. During WomenX Impact, to talk about how sport has profoundly changed her life. Highlighting those distinctive features that today have become her point of reference, her strengths in the world of work. She is Bianca del Balzo, graduated in Advertising Communication at IED Milano, who today holds the role of Head of Operations, as well as being Shaper of the Global Shapers hub in Milan at Will Media. Bianca develops and monitors the social editorial plans, supervising media channels and platforms, implementing day-to-day activities across departments and also solving problems, organising activities, coordinating all resources and creating strategies to improve productivity and efficiency. About IED she remembers "the nights spent as she and her companions prepared the exam projects". Educational and irreplaceable moments because, as she tells IED Alumni Network: “The IED prepared me for th world of work”. And to young people who want to follow her path, she says: "Once you leave university, don't stop at your first job, if you are not convinced, change and dare until you find your way".

ALICE BERARDI AND MARTINA RICCA
IED Roma Communication Alumnae, Martina Ricca and Alice Berardi are the founders of Mea Design Agency, one of the most followed in Italy in the field of digital communication. They studied Advertising Communication with Art Direction specialization and created a “Mea talk” podcast, firmly at the top of the Spotify charts. "Surely the IED formed the basis for us to deepen the social and digital issues on which we then focused, it was able to provide us with the methodology and to make us gain confidence. Especially thanks to the IED we have never been afraid to speak or present in public, quite the contrary". And when we asked them an advice for the young creatives they answered us: "Believe in yourself, work until you die especially at the beginning and be the solution and not the problem. Throw yourself down but with your feet on the ground, then build a project around you and jump, staying on your own at this moment can be a viable path, with a lean structure you can cut costs and offer tailor-made services, exactly what the market is asking for. Today, with social media you can then contact anyone and build a network, a network of contacts, essential for building a new business".

SOFIA SARCINA
A diploma in Communication Design, with a specialization in Communication Management and a great desire to lead the way. A desire that led Sofia Sarcina to work today at the We Are Social agency in the strategy department of Wider ("specifically I am part of the influence team"). A very dynamic work that is giving her many satisfactions. "I then take care of all campaigns involving influencers or third parties such as media partners, communities and so on", she said us. About IED Sofia also likes to make clear that: "I like to think of IED as an incubator of creativity, planning and teamwork. During my studies I have learned to know and love the world of advertising in all its different facets, discovering the added value of branding, developing integrated communication projects and knowing all the secrets of the media”. And speaking of her work she concludes: "Currently I am very happy with my career in the agency, where I can combine my passion for advertising and gaming. In fact, we have recently published We Are Social Gaming and I had the honuor of being part of it ".
