two ied alumni HAVE PRODUCED THE FIRST SERIES BY ZEROCALCARE
The first animated series by the famous Italian cartoonist Zerocalcare, currently available on Netflix, has been produced by Movimenti Productions animation studio, founded by IED Alumni Giorgio Scorza and Davide Rosio with BAO Publishing. Alumni, illustrators and animators Vittorio Ascolani, Emanuele Motti, Monica Piardi, Francesca Falasca, Marta Marzullo, Alice Gaffo also worked on the series, entitled "Strappare lungo i bordi".

ITOR GOIKOETXEA WINS THE ITS RESPONSIBLE CREATIVITY AWARD
Former student Aitor Goikoetxea won the ITS Responsible Creativity Award powered by Allianz in the latest edition of the International Talent Support 2021 - ITS Contest 2021. The IED Barcelona Alumnus was awarded thanks to its final thesis project, in the scope of the course in Fashion Design. The "Aitarekin Afaltzen" collection, which is also for the designer a journey into past memories, also linked to the figure of the deceased father, highlights traditional and manual work processes, such as the creation of fabrics from scratch, knitting or embroidery. The very vivid color palette instead symbolises the commitment to a positive outlook on life. Finally, the overlapping of garments, shirts made from napkins, trousers-skirts made from tablecloths or prints made with photographs of family scenes stand out in Aitor's work.

THE ADCI AWARDS 2021 CROWN IED IN THE "STUDENTS", "EXPERIENCE" AND "DESIGN" CATEGORIES
The ADCI Awards (Art Director Club Italiano) assigned 5 prizes to the proposals of young creatives made in IED both for the three-year and master courses. The creative proposal "Invisible failures" for Linkedin was also awarded a gold, with which Alberto Baesso and Francesco Fusi aim to underline how even failures are an integral and true part of a successful career.

A bronze in the same categories also goes to "Let the music play" for Spotify created by Alberto Baesso, Beatrice Carcelli, Giulia Curia, Martina D'Avila, Gaia Demontis, Alice Ferretti, Giulia Colombo. IED presence also in the Design category (branding, logos, website, editorial projects) with a bronze for the irreverent social and web campaign "iRadio Maria - Revive the Conversation", imagined by Carola Bugni and Gaia Argentino of the Undergraduate Course in Graphic Design for the largest radio religious to the world. The Experience category alone (Social, Digital, Events, Brand Activiation) instead specifically rewards two proposals from the Master in Creative Direction.
