Christmas call for charity
For Christmas 23, IED would like to work with the Alumni community to create an illustrated calendar that supports the mission of Laboratorio Parallelo (parallelolab.com/), a social collective of artisans and creatives that aims to train the most vulnerable (ex-prisoners, migrants, etc.) in trades (carpentry, tailoring, bookbinding to name a few) that enable them to live with dignity.
So you Alumni design and the 'scappati di casa (runaways)' of Laboratorio Parallelo produce; a perfect formula to tell all our most important interlocutors (companies, institutions, journalists, influencers, etc.), who will receive the calendar, about your creativity and support for a virtuous social reality.
How can you get on the desks of our stakeholders? Answer this call for charity and donate a picture to support Laboratorio Parallelo with us, we will select 12! The theme to work on is ' Not so good New Year's purposes' and below are all the details you need to participate.

Image theme: ' Not so good New Year's purposes'
We value an element common to this season: the many good intentions and the effort to keep them (e.g. Dieting after the holidays, I will devote more time to myself, Read more, Use less smartphone). We do not want to focus exclusively on the world of design, but we would like to broaden our perspective by appealing to common codes. We suggest something similar to a "wish generator". The sense of humor and/or randomness of these messages could be some of the main threads.
Format: 10 x 15 cm, vertical development
Production technique: illustration, photography, graphics
Assignment of rights: by joining the initiative, you authorize IED to use free of charge the image produced within the project "Illustrated Calendar 2024" for 24 months (from 15 November 2023 to 15 November 2025) with the power to reproduce it, print it, publish it, project it, disseminate it both in paper format through the calendar produced by Laboratorio Parallelo and freely distributed by IED, and in digital format through the web, the official social channels of IED and any currently known means.
