Nicola Zambelli, launches his new film

Film director Nicola Zambelli, IED Milano Alumnus, has presented his new film Sarura in Florence. The film takes us back to the Negev desert, where a group of Palestinian youths fight against the Israeli military occupation. Youth of Sumud - the young people of perseverance - try to give back to their people the lands stolen from their families, restoring the ancient cave village of Sarura to its former glory. Ten years after their first documentary on the nonviolent struggle in the West Bank, the directors return to the village of At-Tuwani to tell how the children portrayed in the film have grown up in the meantime, using material which is over 15 years old.
