
Francesco Murano

A truly rising star, 22-year-old Francesco Murano, finished his studies in Fashion Design at IED Milan in an explosive way. In July 2019 he was awarded the National Chamber of Fashion Award at 2019 Milano Moda Graduate show, the same month he was selected by Beyoncé, to complete one of her outfits with his Pedestal Shoes in the video of “SPIRIT”, soundtrack extracted from the live action remake of “The Lion King”. Born and raised in a small town south of Salerno in the south of Italy, Francesco studied at Artistic College Carlo Levi di Eboli, specializing in Plastic & Ceramic Design. In 2016 he moved to Milano to study Fashion, at IED Moda with a degree in Fashion Design. On January 26th, 2020 Beyoncé appeared at Roc Nation’s pre-Grammys brunch, the annual event that precedes the prestigious Grammy Awards in the morning, wearing the Ossimoro Dress, which comes directly from Francesco’s thesis collection entitled “Ossimoro Plastico“. Dressed in a gray low cut with wavy shapes and wide neckline, Beyoncé was the chicest celebrity at the event according to Harper Bazaar magazine, and the pop star wanted to appear with the outfit on her IG profile.
