2nd edition of the New European Bauhaus Prizes 2022 is open and IED is one of the official partners, selected by the European Commission!
We have the pleasure to inform you that the European Commission has launched the second edition of the #NewEuropeanBauhaus Prizes 2022!
This year’s edition will celebrate new inspiring examples of the positive transformations that the NEB initiative wants to bring about in our daily lives, living spaces and experiences.
Young people, under the age of 30, can apply for both the New European Bauhaus Awards and the New European Bauhaus Rising Stars.
Submit your inspiring project or new idea and get the chance to win prizes up to €30.000! Applications are open until 7 March 19:00 CET.
The prizes have 4 different categories that reflect the thematic axes of transformation identified during the New European Bauhaus’ co-design phase and are inspired by the views and experiences of thousands of EU citizens and organisations:
1. Reconnecting with nature
2. Regaining a sense of belonging
3. Prioritising the places and people that need it the most
4. Shaping a circular industrial ecosystem and supporting life-cycle thinking
In each of the categories there are two parallel competition strands:
New European Bauhaus Awards for existing completed projects.
New European Bauhaus Rising Stars for ideas by young talents aged 30 or less.
