YOU NOW:
I have always been, even before I graduated from the IED, a fan of laser shows. From an early age they had fascinated me. After graduating from the IED I decided to deepen the subject and thanks to a company in Milan with whom I worked I began to learn this technology by combining 3D computer graphics with it. After a few years I decided to start my own business, until now. I have made various shows both large and small, collaborated with other companies in the sector with which I have made some shows, television programs and important events.
One of the project I created, the most emblematic for me, is “Leonardo il Genio Immortale” a 3D laser videomapping show on the life and works of Leonardo da Vinci made in 2019 (year of the celebration for the 500th anniversari of his death) which earned me the first place in the ILDA Award (International laser display association) in 2020 as best laser show with added effects and multimedia category.
My last important project was “Huracan”, an innovative travelling digital show on water where I took care of the direction, the screenplay, the 3D computer graphics and the laser design.Thanks of the use of the most advanced technologies for entertainment, the viewer wil be projected into a story between magic and technology, between mythology and ancient Maya civilizations. During the show you wil be able to see the leatest technology in action to create holographic projections on water screens, controller flames, fireworks, motorized lights, laser projections and effects and robotic water jets. After this year of running in, we are continuing the marketing campaign to take "Huracan" on tour next year.
CREATIVITY:
I chose to attend the IED course because of all the proposals that existed at the time, it seemed to me the most complete. Then I had heard about the school from many people who had spoken well of it for the possibilities it would have opened in the world of work.
IED LOCATIONS:
I chose Milan because it was the closest to reach, then because the city offers many ideas. It is a creative city that offers a lot from a professional point of view.
CHALLENGES OF OUR TIMES:
These last two years have been very complicated and complex, the events and entertainment sector is the one that has had, together with others, the most dramatic fallout. However, something has been achieved, also thanks to online streaming, which has allowed us to reinvent the sector a little, but obviously streaming can never replace the live experience of a show, they are two completely different things. The lookdown allowed me to professionally update myself and learn new software and techniques that I now use in my productions.
ADVICE:
My advice is never to give up and always believe in what you do even if at first it seems impossible, with determination you can achieve everything.
