RACE FOR OCEANS: A GLOBAL CAMPAIGN FOR PLASTIC-FREE OCEANS
In 2021, UNLEASH is partnering with Race for Oceans and the Bestseller Foundation to launch a global campaign for the Sustainable Development Goal #14: Life in the Oceans.
Being UNLEASH a non-profit organization and one of IED's partners for sustainability projects, we invite the whole IED Alumni community to take action and have the chance to be global champions for plastic-free oceans.
The Race for Oceans' programme offers training on how to organize impactful community campaigns and a financial stipend for carrying out your community event.
If you have a passion for fighting for change in the waters around us (oceans, rivers or lakes), you just need:
a) an idea for an event that should combine sports, plastic clean-up and knowledge-sharing, with the purpose of raising awareness about the increasing plastic pollution in the water and taking real action,
b) to sign up HERE for the Race by September 10th, 2021.
