YOU NOW:
I am responsible for the R&D department of F&N Compositi, a technologically advanced company in the aeronautical field where we develop and realize components made up of carbon and composite materials. Our core business is the aeronautical field where we daily face up to several challenges in order to optimize components which will later be mounted on airlines and light aviation. The primary goal is to raise the quality level of the components keeping unchanged the structural performances and optimising together with the client the weight of the principal components who build up aeroplanes, thus reducing the environmental impact of airlines.
CREATIVITY:
The inventiveness and planning developed during the three-year period in product design studies is the basis on which today I base every project that I face, analyzing from the beginning what are the main problems to improve the realization of a product starting from the context and the user. The user is always the real focus of the project itself. ZASH, our brand for sustainable mobility and not only, collects several projects where the user is at the centre. We have developed e-bikes, skateboards, and scooters and new products will soon come to light and will be then marketed in our store, currently being finalized.
IED LOCATIONS:
Rome, my hometown, has been at the centre of the development of numerous projects realized during my studies, a city of thousands of faces, which lends itself to the study and analysis of new design systems and products to improve the life of the citizen and the city itself. AYR is the e-bike born as a thesis project, designed using technically advanced materials such as carbon fibre to overcome the problems of the weight of classic pedal-assisted bikes, integrating into the frame itself the flexibility and tenacity necessary to cushion the roughness of the street.
MEMORIES:
I have a lot of happy memories, of weeks spent in the laboratories all together realizing prototypes for exams and also nights with my dearest colleagues to help each other to finish our work. The entire course represented a big moment of conviviality and sharing that we still remember vividly today.
CHALLENGES OF OUR TIMES:
This last year and a half have represented the sprint to develop even more products for the ecosystem ZASH, products that will bring users to live the nature and the open air! The main necessity after this big period of closure.
ADVICE: Aim for the craziest ideas to make them real. But above all, surround yourself with the most real people by your side! You will always have those ones by your side and they will always be ready to help you.
