Davide Angeli and AMDL Circle in the AD100 selection of the year

Published on January 31, 2024

If you browse the website of AMDL Circle studio and you go to the section "Who we are", you won't see names or individual portraits. They say of themselves that they're a circle, they have an horizontal organization where ideas flow freely.

But some great names have been connected to the studio for may years: of course that of Architect Michele De Lucchi, Founder of the studio and one of the most important Italian designers of the last 5 decades. Then we find Davide Angeli, Deputy Managing Director of the studio, who graduated in Product Design at IED Milano and now he coordinates the AMDL Circle's projects, defining concepts and following international clients mostly.

The 20th birthday of his collaboration with the firm comes with a special recognition: AMDL has been included in the Architectural Digest (AD) selection of the 100 designers and architects that will shape the future of the project world in 2024. They have been chosen to represent the category Research: for their commitment to integrate well-being and social connection and to reflect on how spaces change people's lives.

Davide designed interiors and installations for Poltrona Frau, Moschino, Artemide, Ferrari, Fiat and many others. Graphics and brand image for Intesa Sanpaolo, Banca Popolare Italiana, Zambon, etc. He is winner of the “Top Young Italian Industrial Designer Award” promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of New York, he has taught furniture design at IED Milano since 2008. In 2019 he Co-founded Irving Place, a Millennial’s inspired interior design manufacturer firm.

Congratulations Davide and super AMDL Circle team!
