IED Alumni Roadshow in Como: where art meets future
It will be a special IED Alumni Roadshow on May 11 at the Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli in Como.
During the event, which will include a networking cocktail at the end, we will address the topic of "Cultural Heritage and Design" Four outstanding guests from different professional fields will each offer their own point of view.
How do you safeguard artistic heritage when it comes to textile works? Are there specific intervention methodologies for textile conservation? How does a registrar care for artwork? What are today's best and most cutting-edge techniques for preserving works of art that increasingly move between nations? How does one design an artwork?
We will discuss this with the Director of the Como Silk Museum, an art lawyer working for Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome, one of the best 90 designers in the world according to Taschen magazine, and a young digital and conceptual artist, all of whom will provide exciting insights.
The audience will also be involved as a part of the meeting will be dedicated to questions and feedback.
