Ohliguer crowns Madonna for Vanity Fair

Founded in 202 by IED Roma alumna Jessica Cooper, Ohliguer has quickly gained recognition for its iconic designs. Skilfully blending traditional elements of fine craftsmanship with an unexpected contemporary flair, Ohliguer has become a fast favourite with celebrities including Zoe Kravitz, Gwen Stefani, Joey King and Madonna. Madonna does not take off her signature Ohliguer Croc Cuff and recently requested the impossible - a bespoke Croc Crown of Thorns for her Iconic Vanity Fair cover shoot.

Jessica describes the project that was born as a tribute to the unique 40-year career of the queen of pop culture as her raison d'être. "It was utter madness to deliver something of that creative and technical magnitude in two weeks, yet I knew it was an unmissable creative opportunity. One where I could reinvent one of history's greatest symbols - the crown of thorns. I had to fly to the US within a few days of the request and remain there until the execution was complete". It was immensely stressful. However, being a part of one of the most ambitious and beautiful shoots in the history of Vanity Fair - one that subverted traditional symbols of masculinity - was one of Ohliguer's greatest highlights to date".
