A special contest dedicated to the Spanish fashion sector.
Promoted by Modaes together with Mango StartUp Studio and Meta, Fashion StartUp Contest was born three years ago with the aim of highlighting the entrepreneurial dynamism of the Spanish fashion sector and helping to showcase these new projects, which add value to this industry and which will be the main characters and references of a new generation of success in Spanish fashion.
Requirements
The requirements to be met by the projects that register must be having their head office in Spain, having launched the product or service in the fashion world at least six months ago or, at the most, seven years ago, being in a growth phase, having scalable models and potential for development and being a project led by entrepreneurs with a high commitment and full time dedication, among others.

Award
The prize includes support and advice on Instagram and Facebook campaigns, provided by Meta, with a €15,000 voucher for advertising on Instagram and Facebook; coaching by Clemente Cebrián, founder of El Ganso; 80 hours of business plan consultancy provided by EY and two mentoring sessions with Kibo Ventures team. The winning project will also receive support with publicity in Modaes.es along with an annual subscription to this media, as well as invitations to events and training programmes. The final, where the prizes will be awarded, will take place in March.
As in previous editions, IED has once again been invited to form part of the committee of experts in charge of identifying the finalists and the winner. On this occasion it will be Giusi Lara, Managing Director of IED Madrid, who together with other renowned professionals from the world of business and design, will choose the winning project.
In addition to Giusi Lara, the rest of the jury is integrated by Belén Rallo, director of Mango StartUp Studio; Juan Hurtado, director of fashion clients in Spain at Facebook; Clemente Cebrián, founder of El Ganso, Covadonga García-Valdés, head of investments at Kibo Ventures; Ignacio Sierra, head of the corporate area of Tendam; Javier Vello, partner in charge of EY Transforma and the Business Consulting practice; Mónica Rodríguez, co-founder and CEO of Recovo, and Christian De Angelis, co-founder of Modaes.
